Please join us in Celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the A.I.H.M. with a special concert of Italian arias, songs and duets from La Traviata, La Boheme, Martha, I Puritani, and Don Pasquale featuring such composers as Bellini, Verdi, Puccini, and Catalani!

    Annual Italian Christmas Market

    Share this festive Italian Tradition with us in our American Italian Heritage Museum building, 1227 Central Avenue in Albany, NY. Our exhibit rooms will be safely transformed into various market places where you will find something for almost everyone on your Christmas shopping list, including yourself! Be sure to look for unique merchandise that will be available for purchase featuring things that are hard to find: Italian language Christmas cards, Made-in-Italy items, hand-crafted ceppos, Befana figures, Buon Natale ornaments, Italian-sayings plaques, popular novelties, delicious Italian baked goods, Nini’s Sicilian Salsa & much more, just to name a few! While here, remember to visit the always beautiful room-sized original Italian Nativity Special Exhibit.
    Join us as we celebrate our culture at this most beautiful time of the year.

    Practice your Italian will meet during December and January.  Joseph Anastasio is the Leader.  In case of bad weather, all him to see if the class is cancelled.  Free and open to the public.


    December Monthly Meeting and Cultural Presentation will take place on Thursday, December 16 at 7:00pm.  “Italian Christmas Season Traditions” by Prof./Cav. Philip J. DiNovo. will follow the business meeting.  We will hold our Annual Christmas Party following the cultural presentation.  Please bring dessert for reception to follow.  This is an opportunity to celebrate the Christmas season with fellow members. 


    Coffee/Tea with Friends: Friday, January 14th at 1:00pm.  This is an opportunity to meet with friends during the winter.


    Tombola (Italian Bingo) will be offered again on Tuesday, January 18th at 1:00pm.  This event is an opportunity to have some fun with members and friends.  Open to the public. 


    Our January Monthly Meeting and Cultural Presentation will take place on Thursday, January 20th at 7:00pm.  Following the business meeting we will show either “Uncle Nino” or ‘Trip to Italy”.  The majority will decide which film we show  Please bring dessert for the reception following the movie
